Leverage Matters : Ropes & Wheels Workshop

Leverage can make a huge difference when practicing yoga postures. The ropes wall and yoga wheels provide a great source of leverage.

Lessen the learning curve with these great props – both tools will help you to get a grasp on what you should be doing in a yoga posture versus what you think you should be doing.

Each tool helps to address tension and muscular restriction in the back, chest, shoulders, abdomen, groins and hip flexors as well as a great way to develop core stability and spinal traction.

I am an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher – E-RYT 200 and a qualified Continuing Education Provider with Yoga Alliance – YACEP. Gain credit towards your CE training hour requirements through this informative workshop!

Summertime Slow Down Yin Yoga Workshop

Exclusively at The Glowing Body Yoga Studio

Sunday, July 8th
9:00am – 12:00pm

Recharge and give back to your body, mind, and spirit with a 3 hour Yin practice.

On the surface, the yin practice might appear uneventful. But if you are able to tune in, you will encounter some pretty fascinating events occurring in the layers beneath the skin.

Postures are done on the floor and held for minutes at a time. The act of carefully taking a posture and tending to your body’s unique set of needs for the duration of the hold is a form of self-care and loving kindness.

Don’t worry! Lots of props are used for support so you can achieve sweet surrender.
